Serge Levars’ dog has disappeared

Serge Levars goes to the vet’s office with his dog Titus. He wants to make sure everything is in order for the regional competition in a few days. Rebecca, the new vet, reassures him. Serge then asks her for advice on Titus’ hair because he wants it shiny.

He wants to put all the odds on his side so that his dog can win. Rebecca advises him to pay attention to the joints and not to stress the animal too much.

With Serge gone, Rebecca will contact Charles tomorrow if she has any news from Mrs. Duvall, whose diabetic cat is still in their building. Charles thinks he was abandoned. Rebecca instructs the young man to find her and bring her back to the office.

Serge Levars walks Titus through the woods to prepare him for the competition. Then he gets a call from Laetitia, who offers to have lunch with him. After hanging up, he realizes that his dog is missing.

Charles returns to the veterinary clinic to inform Rebecca of Mrs. Duvall’s death. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a family to take care of his pet. The vet then offers the young man to take the cat home. Charles agreed and offered to go and have a drink in return. Rebecca accepts his invitation.

Serge goes to the police station about the theft of his dog. He is received by Thierry Valois, who is surprised by his request. Serge didn’t see or hear anything, so the dog could run away. But Serge rejects this hypothesis, because this is a purebred dog that cost him a lot of money and is perfectly trained.

He then explains to Tier that Titus is a future breeder worth gold. However, Thierry informs him that the prosecutor will not open an investigation. Serge is upset when he sees that the police are not going to do anything to help him.

Shortly after, Serge gets a call from Titus’ captor, who demands 1,500 euros in cash for the next day. The man claims: Serge should not inform the police.

In turn, Rebecca questions Charles about his predecessor. The young man assures that Christophe was very professional and taught a lot. Charles then asks Rebecca questions about her personal life. He tells her that he is not married because he values his freedom too much for that. In turn, Charles makes her realize that she is lonely.

Nothing goes well with Laumiers

Elizabeth goes to the police station with Allen to report the fire in her car. The businessman thinks that the fire started accidentally. However, Thierry Valois informs him that the firemen found traces of gasoline on the body, indicating that it was an intentional act.

Elizabeth pretends not to know who could do this. On Thierry’s advice, he sues X to get compensation from his insurance. As the policeman leaves the room, Allen points out to Elizabeth that it could have been more serious and asks why she didn’t say that she was in conflict with Catherine Laumier.

But Elizabeth thinks it’s Lauryn who’s behind the fire because Catherine, she says, is much more devious.

Meanwhile, at the Laumiere house, Lorin is surprised to find her brother in the kitchen. Catherine then explains to her daughter that she offered Boris to come and live with them for a while. He wants them all to come together to support each other. The young woman is not at all happy to hear this news and prefers to leave the house.

A few hours later, Catherine receives a call from Elizabeth, who informs her that her car was set on fire the previous day. The latter tells him that he thinks Lorin is responsible for this criminal act.

Catherine assures her former friend that she doesn’t know anything about it, but realizes that it’s possible. She explains to him that Lauryn is very fragile after her father’s death. Catherine then offers to pay Elizabeth, but she refuses her offer.

He will definitely do his insurance. Elizabeth explains to Catherine that she wanted to leave Lorraine alone. He warns her that if her daughter attacks her or Allen, she will be much less understanding. Catherine promises him that Lorin won’t cause him any more problems.

At the hospital, Lauryn comes to see Allen, but Allen is tense. He explains to the young woman that if he could, he would file a complaint against her. Lorin pretends not to understand. Allen doesn’t believe her and asks her to leave Elizabeth alone.

At the end of the day, Muriel asks Eva if she can keep Thomas the next day, as he is invited to Elizabeth and Allen’s wedding. Eve happily accepts. But he feels uncomfortable talking about the upcoming weekend in Rome, which is scheduled after Elliott’s release. Muriel tries to calm him down by explaining that he is stressed about work.

At night, Catherine confronts Lorin. The latter admits that he set Elizabeth’s car on fire. He adds that it gave him relief. He then criticizes his mother for not doing anything and being a “whore” at Elizabeth and Allen’s wedding. Furious, Kathryn hits Lauryn.
