This iconic and hilarious French series is coming to Disney+ today!

They’re back… or almost! Wednesday, August 21, 2024 The former hit series from France 2, Don’t Do This, Don’t Do That, is coming to Disney+. Thus, all users of the streaming platform will have the opportunity to watch or preview nine seasons, which will tell about the adventures of the Lepik and Bull clans!

“Don’t Do This, Don’t Do That” is coming to Disney+

At the very beginning of the comics created by Anne Jaffer and Thierry Bizot in 2007, these two neighboring families, embodying two opposite methods of education, were filmed in their daily lives over a period of several months with their children.

On the one hand, Denis and Valerie Boule play a couple who reject the authoritarian model of their parents; Together they created a blended family. On the other hand, Renault and Fabien Lepic, convinced that the problems of today’s youth are essentially due to the resignation of parents, support the strict study regime that they adopted and apply to their four children.

These parents do everything with their good will, objections and doubts… But the latter, if they were mentioned as children, would undoubtedly receive a dedicated mention: “can do better“!

Actors who became TV stars

In the casting of Fais pas ci, faire pas ça, which was once the heyday of France 2 in terms of viewers, we found teenagers who need no introduction today: Isabel Gelinas and Bruno Salomon as Valérie and Denis. Also Guillaume de Tonquedec and Valerie Boneton as Reno and Fabien.

To portray the characters’ offspring, Lillian Dugua, Alexandra Gentil, and Myrtle Guga lent their features to the Bully children, while Janis Lespert, Tifain Haas, Kanel Carre-Kasan, and Timothee Kempen-Jamel played the Lepik children.

Funny and exciting, the series Fais pas ci fait pas ça has featured many funny guests over the years: Isabelle Nantes, Eva Darlan, Frédéric Bell, Corinne Masiero, Bruno Solo, Helena Noguera, Philippe Lefebvre, François-Xavier. Demaison, Zabu Brightman, Sylvie Testud, Lanick Gautry…and many more!

In 2020 (appropriately, three years after the end of the fiction), our heroes return to the fore for a special Christmas reunion bonus. At the end of 2023, it was announced that a new TV movie was being made, reuniting the cast, and that, this time, the Lepiks and Buleys were preparing to travel…to the moon.
