In an official statement, The Edge spoke about the concert film, titled V-U2, which was directed by the rock band’s guitarist himself.

The production is called V-U2 and was directed by the band’s guitarist, The Edgeand Morleigh Steinberg. The film is described as an “immersive concert feature,” “created specifically for the Sphere and will utilize the venue’s technologies to create an experience that is only possible in this next-generation entertainment medium,” according to a statement from the artist.
The goal was to give immersive viewers as close to the live show experience as possible. U2:UV – and a little more. I’ve never seen a show like U2. I’m so relieved I caught a great one.
Additionally, the group also released a trailer for the concert film, which shows a speech by The Edge to the audience at the live performance: “After all these years, I can see a show from U2.” So far, there is no forecast for its release in Brazil.
