HBO Max has released a new trailer for the third season of “Harley Quinn”, Harley Quinn’s adult animated series. Completely different from the previous preview, the video features Harley and Ivy (Poison Ivy) in an open relationship, but the relationship faces its first fight over the second plan to turn Gotham City into a forest. Haley ends up allying herself with the heroes, which her companions find odd.
But Harley Quinn isn’t the only one experiencing a crisis of conscience. The Joker also appears transformed, wanting to become Mayor of Gotham and apologizing. His participation also includes references to the movie “Joker”, with the right to dance on a staircase.
Created by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey, producers of the underrated DC comedy series “Powerless”, the animated series brings together a team of strong voice actors, featuring Kaley Cuoco (the Penny from “Big Bang Theory”) as an anti-hero title. Lake Bell (“Bless This Mess”) as the voice of Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk (“Doom Patrol”) as Joker and Clayface, Jim Rash (“Community”) as the Riddler, Ron Funches (“Too Many”) as King Shark, Diedrich Bader (“Veep”) as Batman, Sanaa Lathan (“Alien vs. Predator”) as Catwoman and Wayne Knight (the Newman of “Seinfeld”) as Penguin.
The new episodes will premiere on July 28 in the US, but there is no confirmed date for Brazil. The first two seasons took some time to make available on the HBO Max national service.
