According to a survey conducted by consulting firm Michael Page, the demand for qualified professionals in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) grew by 39% between January and April of this year compared to the same period last year. The research also highlights that the salary of AI specialists can range from R$ 15,000 to R$ 32,000.
In this scenario, Qualifica SP – Novo Emprego, a program managed by the Secretariat for Economic Development (SDE), opens this Wednesday (28) registrations for 2,500 vacancies in an artificial intelligence course developed in collaboration with Google Cloud and the Technology Support Foundation (FAT).
Artificial Intelligence Course
Online and free, the course “Artificial Intelligence – Google Cloud” presents, in three modules, an overview of the concepts of generative artificial intelligence, from the foundations of large linguistic models to the principles of responsibility. The course is planned for 50 hours, which can be completed in a month and a half and divided into 30 hours of programmatic content, 12 hours of tutoring and eight hours of socio-emotional skills.
Once the training is completed and all requirements are met, students will be invited to participate in the Job Fair – Fiera delle Opportunità, an event with internship and job offers that will take place in November.
Registration must be completed through the Qualifica SP website by September 22. Residents of the state of São Paulo who are over 18 years old can participate. After registration, candidates will have to take qualifying tests and will be called by email.
With these 2,500 places in total, SDE will offer 8,000 places in courses in collaboration with Google Cloud. In July, registrations were opened for 5,500 places in cloud computing and artificial intelligence courses.
Job Fair – Opportunity Fair
At the end of each module, an assessment will be carried out to obtain the Google Cloud ‘seal of skills’, which represents the recognition by the company that the person has knowledge in that specific skill. Students who obtain the necessary stamps and achieve at least 75% attendance in lessons will be able to participate in the Job Fair – Opportunities Fair, a virtual event with internships and job offers, promoted by Google Cloud and partner companies, which will take place in November.
