Minions 2 meets Kung Fu in a new trailer

Minions are back in a crazy new adventure!

Once Upon a Time Gru continues where the previous film, The Minions, which grossed $ 1.16 billion worldwide, came to a halt. In this sequel, which takes place in the 70s, little yellow creatures gather around Grus when a young villain plans to join a group of supervillains known as Vicious 6. But nothing goes as planned and Gru suddenly becomes their sworn enemy.

Forced to escape, the young villain will need his best friends. Then Kevin, Stewart, Bobby and Otto will do their best to help their mini-boss. Including learning Kung Fu, as revealed in this new trailer, is full of action and plan.

The Despicable Me spin-off is directed by Kyle Balda, Brad Abson and Jonathan Del Wally. On the sound transmission side, Gad Elmalehi will renew the role of Grus in the French version.

In the original version, Steve Carell is surrounded by the stars of 80s action movies: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo and Lucy Lowles. Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh and RZA also assist in voice acting.

Repeatedly delayed due to a pandemic, Minions 2: Once Upon a Time Gru will be released in theaters on July 6, 2022 and will have its world premiere at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on Monday, June 13th.
