Last year, the adventures of the three musketeers captivated French moviegoers. A new film adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ novel also resulted in a double release: the first part titled D’Artagnan, then the second titled Milady.
In this modernized version of the famous cloak and dagger story, the main role of d’Artagnan was given to François Civil, accompanied by Vincent Cassel (Athos), Romain Duris (Aramis) and Pio Marmay (Portos) as Sami. Due to the success of the two Three Musketeers adaptations, a sequel has been announced by producer Dimitri Rassam. “by 2027”. Logically, this third installment will be inspired by the novel twenty years later and will see our heroes return in more aged forms.
It’s not specified if this sequel will be a two-chapter (which would make sense, twenty years later Exceeds 1000 pages when The Three Musketeers just under 900). As for Viscount of BragellonEven if it was adapted, at least 2600 pages should have been displayed on the screen!
