Brazil to face Ecuador and Paraguay
On Tuesday night (3), the CBF released the number of players in the Brazilian team for the September World Cup qualifiers. This Friday (6), Brazil will face Ecuador, at 22:00 (Brasilia time), in Couto Pereira, Curitiba (PR), and will face Paraguay, in Asunción, next Tuesday (10).
With Neymar absent, Rodrygo continues to wear Brazil’s historic number 10. The number 9 will be Endrick’s, just like in the Copa América.
Debutants Luiz Henrique will wear the 20 shirt and Estevão the 22.
After four games without a win in World Cup qualifying – a draw with Venezuela and losses to Uruguay, Colombia and Argentina – Brazil are looking to bounce back in the competition. With seven points from six games, the Seleção are sixth in the competition, the last one that guarantees a direct spot to the 2026 World Cup.
