what are you talking about
Commander Bernier, now retired, is considering a career as a captain. He agrees to conduct a test in Martinique, on a magnificent catamaran. It is at Anse d’Arlet that we find Bernier, accompanied by Lucas, Vicky and Jeanne, welcoming a group of tourists for an idyllic cruise…
Well, that’s what they believe… because just after the evening when Simon, one of the passengers, proposes to his girlfriend, he disappears from the boat without a trace. Suicide, accident or murder? Hypotheses abound before the discovery of the bloody knife…

who is he with
Much to our delight, Xavier Deluc returns to duty as Commander Bernier, while Franck Semonin, Fabien Carat and Félicité Chatton reprise their roles as Lucas, Jeanne and Vicky.
But to accompany them on this new adventure, they can count on a host of guests familiar to viewers. Indeed, Jeremy Banster, already seen in Un si grand soleil, plays Allen. On the other hand, Adher Gabeulet (Tomorrow Belongs to Us) plays the character of Bruno.
Meanwhile, Philippa Fenix (Follow, Camping Paradis) also stars Jean-Francois Kyrie, Daniel Francis, Elisa Erka and Hakim Faris.
Perfect casting for an investigation that takes our favorite heroes to Martinique.
is it worth watching
After the first special episode of the program at the beginning of the year, Section de Recherches returns with a new episode, the story of which takes place in Martinique. In addition to the dream setting, a high-level investigation awaits our favorite characters.
Staying in the closed genre again, this new chapter is divided into two parts where our team explores, even though they have to have a good time on the catamaran. But when a young woman disappears without a trace, Bernier can’t dignify leaving his police suit in the closet.
Forgetting the captain’s job, he jumps into the investigation without further ado. If this is how we judge characters anyway, we have to say that this unit is perhaps a little lacking in suspense. Despite the depressing atmosphere and excellent performances by the cast, we quickly find out who is responsible for what is going on.
However, this should please fans of the genre, as most of the elements of a good cop are present. A small bonus, our heroes can play Koh-Lanta well at some point. All they have to do is find them in a situation that pushes them to their limits.
in short, Research Unit: 12th Passenger There is a friendly bonus, whose humor and exoticism are appreciated. If you’ve always loved the series, you’ll be delighted to find it. Especially since Bernier’s team is still as united as ever!
