It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Episode 996 on Thursday, September 5, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Is Thibaut ready to get Jasmine back?

Jasmine (played by Zoe Severin) and Jim have been up all night. And for good reason, Thierry, Nael’s security blanket, is gone and there’s no getting around him. Thibaut passes the two lovers looking exhausted, which makes him smile.

A few minutes later, Carla and Berenice come face to face with Thibaut… stuck in the bushes. Berenia helps him out of there and asks if he’s looking for anything. He replies that he lost his water bottle, then looks on the ground to find Nael’s famous cuddly toy.

While leaving the institute, Carla runs into Jasmine and Nael. A little boy holds his unicorn stuffed toy in his arms. Carla asks Jasmine where she found Thierry, and the latter replies that the cuddly toy was in front of her apartment door. He doesn’t know that he left it there.

After this discussion, Carla visits Thibaut for a while. She wants to know why she didn’t tell Jasmine that she was the one who found the blanket. He then asks if it’s because he’s still in love with his ex-girlfriend. Thibaut does not answer.

Before leaving, Carla adds that if he still loves Jasmine, she will find out sooner or later. Will Thibault confess his feelings to his brother’s girlfriend?

Cleo makes an irreversible mistake

Internal testing is being conducted today. Cleo asks her boyfriend for advice. At the same time, Gaspard comes out of the ordeal. A young woman asks him how it happened, and he answers: “I’ll tell you a secret, among the fake customers there are those who will try to leave without paying.”

Cleo is more confident than ever in the double room. When he looks over at Billy, he sees Tom standing up from his chair and heading for the exit. Thinking it is a famous customer who leaves without paying, she asks him to sit down again. But Tom explains to her that he just wants to go to the bathroom.

Faced with Cleo’s insistence, Hippolyte and Eliot intervene. They ask the young woman for an explanation, and Cleo replies that it was a trap. The class teacher asks him to stop before the test is over. Is this error fatal?

Cleo is shocked, she didn’t think Gaspar could be so treacherous. He asks why he did it and says it was for fun. He adds with a sly look: “How does it feel to think you’re going to lose a competition just because you made me laugh?”

As he walks through the grounds of the institute. Gaspard meets Alice (played by Noemi Zeitoun) with headphones on her ears, blocking out background noises. Gaspard tells him that his brother has the same concerns as him.

Alice said: “I’m tired of pretending I want to talk to you.”then leaves. Gaspard follows him with his gaze. Will she be interested in the young pastry teacher?

Gary gives Lionel an ultimatum

Lionel looks for a way to calm Zoe down before an internal exam. Suddenly an idea pops into his head: create a deep fake with his father. But who better to carry out this gathering? Lionel immediately thinks of Sabre, the champion of electronic games.

Meanwhile, Zoe prepares to go to the police. But Gary stops it, knowing that it risks a negative impact on the competition. He promises to go talk to Lionel to find out what he’s hiding.

Precisely, a few seconds later, the young man discovers that Sabre and Lionel are discussing a deep fake. Caught in the case, Lionel tries to justify himself, and Sabri tells him to help him that they were making a funny montage. Gary asks Lionel to answer Zoe’s texts and calls.

Minutes before the internal test, Zoe receives the famous deepfake from her father. He tells Elliot that he feels better after hearing from his father. Thus, during the test, he shows seriousness and manages to adapt to all situations.

At the end of the day, Zoe confides in Gary that her father’s video has given her confidence back. The latter is surprised and asks to watch this video. Just then, he takes Lionel to task and tells him that he knows it’s a setup.

Lionel has no choice but to admit the truth: his father has disappeared. Gary is shocked. He gives Lionel an ultimatum: he must tell Zoe the truth or he will be held responsible.
