Universal Pictures Brazil released, on Thursday (5), a new trailer for Wickeda film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, which shows Elphabalived by Cynthia Erivo (Harriet), fighting for the oppressed in a world full of crazy people, like Glindaplayed by the actress and singer Ariana Grande (Don’t Look Up).

What is the story of Wicked?

Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends, Elphababefore becoming the Wicked Witch of the Westand Glindathe future Good Witch of the Southwho become best friends, even with opposite personalities, different points of view and the fight for the love of the same man.

In addition to Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grandethe cast of Wicked still has Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Travel Companions), Bowen Yang (Megaromantic, Saturday Night Live) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere at Once), between others.

When does it premiere? Wicked?
