This is definitely one of the most anticipated comebacks of the year! Indeed, Sacha Girard (Renault Roussel) and Benoit Letelier (Jean-Baptiste Monnier), the two terrifying serial killers who ran rampant on the set, will return to Tomorrow Belongs to Us this Friday, September 6. And obviously, that’s not good for our favorite characters!
Because good news never comes alone, TF1 has just revealed the first images of the return of these two iconic characters in a shoot called “Tomorrow Belongs to Us – The Return of the Serial Killers, discover behind the scenes of their escape”.. This 18-minute documentary takes fans behind the scenes of this new story, which promises to be not only exciting, but above all, full of twists and turns.
“I’m going to kill two, three people”
Last July, Jean-Baptiste Monnier and Renaud Roussel, interpreters of the formidable Benoît Letelier and Sacha Girard, returned to the Damen studio, which we own, after an absence of several months.
If there is a good atmosphere among the actors, their characters are ready to sow terror once again.
“I am going to kill two, three peoples”, jokes Jean-Baptiste Maunier, thus setting the tone for the story to come. Behind this joke lies the actor’s real pleasure in rediscovering his character.

An identical state of mind for Renault Roussel, who is also enjoying playing alongside Jean-Baptiste Mounier for the first time. The actor says:We are two thugs. A priori, I’m a big bad guy. He’s a prettier, handsomer bad boy, and I’m more badass than ever. It’s always interesting to work on this type of role. It shows a form of animality that we all have within us and that we often don’t have the opportunity to express in our daily lives. Nice to get this out. And then playing the bad guy is very interesting. It involves deep psychological work, much more interesting than playing pretty characters.“.
High voltage escape
If Benoit and Sasha are back on our screens, it’s for a good reason! Indeed, two criminals get to know each other in prison and apparently hatch a plan to escape.
While creating, Renault Rousselli enthusiastically declares:The program of the day is escape. This is where I take the guard hostage. I take hostages. I can’t say more, but I will take it elsewhere. ” And the actor added“I am very happy to return and play the role of Sacha again“.
We can see pictures of Renault Roussell in action. The least we can say is that prison has clearly not softened his character, on the contrary, he seems more menacing than ever.
On the run, Sasha and Benoit will stop at nothing, going so far as to kidnap Soraya (Kenza Saib Couton) and Rafaele (Jennifer Lorre). Kenza Saib Kutton, who plays the role of Soraya, says she is delighted to be part of this arc.
“It will be cool, – promises the actor before continuing, – it’s always cool to protect a little intense and unusual scenes. And then it’s nice to see Jean-Baptiste and Renault, so that will be really cool“.
The first images show a key scene. In them, Rafaele and Soraya are in the client’s visiting room when Sasha and Benoit enter the room armed and then take them hostage. It is enough to leave us in doubt about the fate reserved for the future of these two characters.
After a particularly grueling day of filming, the cast seems to be content either way. “It’s a long day, but a very happy one. I think you will not be disappointed with the result.– says Renault Rusel with a smile.
