Netflix was overtaken by HBO / HBO Max in 2022 Emmy nominations, but it was the platform with the most series nominated. In all, 35 different attractions from the streaming company received nominations for the highest accolade in the US television industry.

The lead went to “Round 6,” which made history as the first non-English language production to compete for an Emmy for Best Drama Series. The South Korean attraction received 14 nominations, including Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae), Supporting Actress (Jung Ho-yeon) and Director (creator Hwang Dong-hyuk) in a drama series, including other categories.

The list also highlights “Stranger Things”, which only competes in the technical (or creative, as the Television Academy prefers), and “Ozark” categories, both with 13 nominations.

The other productions were well below this performance. Among others, the list includes “Queer Eye” (6), “The Tinder Hustler” (5), “Andy Warhol’s Diaries” (4), “Bridgerton” (3), “Making Anna” (3), ” Maid “(3),” The Witcher “(3),” Arcane “(2),” Cobra Kai “(2),” Love, Death + Robots “(2) and the controversial humorous special” Dave Chappelle: Closing ” (two).

Several productions received only one nomination, bringing the sum of the platform’s citations to a total of 105. The amount was surpassed by the programming of the paid channel HBO, which had 108, and crushed by the sum of HBO and HBO Max, with 130 nominations.
