Brusque remains in 18th place with 23 points and remains in the relegation zone.
Upcoming games
Peixe will face América-MG, on September 15, at 16:00 (Brasilia time), in Vila Viva da Sorte.
The Catarina team hosts Vila Nova, on September 14, at 17:00 (Brasilia time), at the Augusto Bauer stadium.
Both matches count towards the 26th round of Serie B.
First half
The opening phase saw Santos in the lead and they took the lead with striker Wendel Silva, who took advantage of the ball hit from above and outside the area, finishing the first half in the back of the net. Shortly after, Santos controlled the result and had another ball hit the post by Wendel Silva. At the end of the first half, Serrato asked for a good save from Gabriel Brazão, but the archer prevented the equalizer until the end.
Second half
In the last 45 minutes, Peixe only managed the time and did not suffer any scares from the opposing team. Only in the aerial balls did the black and white beach player scare the Santa Catarina team. Despite some changes, Peixe attacked the wings more and with Guilherme the most incisive in attack. But, at the end of the match, the Santos club maintained the result and won the competition again.
