Earlier this month, the Federal Police and Anatel had registered cases of computer intrusions
THE Superior Court of Justice (STJ) reported on Sunday 8th that it had suffered an attempted hacker attack, but without compromising the judicial system. The “cybercriminal activity”, as defined by the court through the press office, occurred on Friday 6th.
According to the court, the criminal attack was aimed at paralyzing the judicial system. “Within a few minutes, full control was regained, ensuring the functioning of digital services. This did not cause any harm to users,” STJ quoted in a statement.
Public sector systems have recently become the target of hacking attacks. Federal police are investigating the origin of a hacker attack that left the company’s systems offline. Supreme Federal Court (STF) AND National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) attacks were also recorded.
Faced with numerous cases, the Lula government has been evaluating, since the beginning of the year, the creation of a National Agency for Cyber Securityas highlighted by the column of State True Rose.
