to remember

8 million for this Monte Cristo ! This is an impressive new milestone reached for the film under the direction of Pierre Nin. A very nice performance for a French period film that lasts 3 hours.

For the fourth week in a row, the film topped all new releases of the week, incl the old fashioned wayDidier Bourdon and GĂ©rard Darmon’s comedy, which had to settle for 4th place, falls behind Emilia Perez Sister of Jacques Audiard (2nd). Never again – it ends with uswith Blake Lively (3rd). The latter crossed one million records at the end of its 4th week of operation.

As for Emilia Peres, we remind you that the film has already surpassed Les Olympiades and Watching Men Fall in Jacques Audiard’s French career. The feature film should logically surpass several other films in his filmography: A Very Discreet Hero, On My Lips and Dheepan, or even the 868,805 tickets torn by his Brothers Sisters.

A timid start for A l’Ancienne

A l’Ancienne, 4th and after his shy score, his “bankable” double bill Bourdon-Darmon (120,000 admissions for a comedy that combines the two locomotives of French comedy), we find. Deadpool & Wolverine5, which is slowly closing in on Saga’s record in France, still held by the first opus with its 3,763,671 entries.

As for Alien RomulusThe film becomes the seventh episode (out of seven!) of the saga, which has reached the million mark.

In the rest of the rating, Un P’tit truc en plus continues to collect 4 months after publication! It recorded over 100,000 entries, with a total of 10,547,623 tickets sold! The only new product to make the top 10: Tatami at #9.
