The Young and the Restless preview: recaps of episodes from Monday September 16 to Friday September 20, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Ashland doesn’t give up

Victor informs Ashland (who has changed actors) that he knows he lied to Victoria about her cancer. He wants her to leave town without revealing the truth to him. Victor believes that it is better to hurt his daughter than to hear all these lies. Adam, Nick, Sally and Nick can’t wait to find out what happens…

As Ashland goes to answer Victor, Victoria cuts them off. She wants to sign the documents that make her husband a co-director of Newman. But Ashland seems to be unwell, and she accompanies him to get some fresh air. Victoria returns shortly and asks her father to treat her husband badly.

Alone, Ashland calls Peru and orders him not to speak to Michael Baldwin again. Victoria meets Nick and he makes a mistake: the businessman realizes that his brother is hiding a secret. He’s still trying to make it up to him to talk about Ashland co-directing the project again. Victoria straight up asks Ashland if there’s anything she needs to tell him.

He insists that Victor thinks he never had cancer. Victoria is shocked and angry at her father because she clearly believes in her husband the most. Victor learns that Ashland is trying to short-circuit him and decides to point out the “y’s”. Except that now the son-in-law laughs at his blackmail!

Noah realizes

Victor is angry and Ashland manipulates Victoria by taking on her feelings. Victor decides to reveal everything to Knight. The doctor can’t believe it… Nick and Victor ask him if he’ll agree to work with them to unmask Ashland, who he considers a friend. Nate can’t answer them as Victoria joins them in an angry…

Tessa and Maria start preparing for the wedding. All of them, including Noah, must help them. He also meets Cindy with whom he plans to have a good time. Devon, on the other hand, spends time alone with Dominic, even as Abby struggles to separate from him and experiences happy moments.

Lauren and Chloe talk about working with Sally. As the former leaves, the one who keeps up with Adam regrets that Chelsea came to disrupt their dynamic… Sally then sits down with Adam and asks how he’s been getting on with Victor lately. He replies that he can’t reveal anything to protect her…

Jack and Phyllis investigate Kemo

Chance goes to his first psychotherapy session. He recalls the trauma he experienced in Spain. He feels like he’s letting his team down and doesn’t feel connected to Dominic. He confides all his worries to Bi. She blames herself for putting him through this, but he promises to always be there for her.

Jack and Phyllis arrive in Los Angeles and go to Kimo’s house. They discover letters written by the deceased. What Jack is reading is very difficult because he wants life to be different for them. He is devastated and then sees a photo of his son with his half-sister, a woman and a little girl, taken over 10 years ago in Vietnam.

The former cast members continue their research by discussing Luann and Jack’s love story. The latter is very upset. They come across photos of Keemo and other strangers. Phyllis promises Jack that they will find answers from the people in the picture.
