On Thursday, July 14, it all starts here…

A big day has come for Theo! The Vatel Prize jury is dining at Double A this afternoon. Before the start of the service, the chef addresses his entire team with a very motivating speech. While the students are getting ready, Louie arrives to congratulate Theo on his leader-worthy speech. However, Teissier’s son clearly sees through his opponent’s game and refuses to waste time with him. Determined to do bad for him, Louis pretends he doesn’t want his place anymore. Moreover, Theo has no idea that his sister’s boyfriend is planning so that the jury will not come to the restaurant for dinner, but the next day.

A short time later, Louis calls Claire to confirm that the inspector will arrive a day later than expected. However, the mother decided not to contact her friend in order to postpone her visit. He refuses to sabotage Theo’s chances of winning the prize just for his benefit. And he does not want his son to be carried away by the institute and double a. Annoyed by her decision, Louis is determined to find another solution.

At the same time, the kitchen is boiling. Lisandro comes to comfort Theo and assures him that customer feedback is very positive at the moment. Unfortunately, Vattel’s inspector hasn’t arrived yet. Before going to the diner, the chef asks Lisandro to take care of Louis: he has a bad feeling. Iniesta then promises him that he will be careful.

Louis, on the other hand, refuses to admit defeat and looks through Double A’s booking book. He is interrupted by Lisandro, who takes Theo’s request very seriously. Iniesta assures him that he has no business here, especially during such an important duty, and orders him to leave because everything is under control. In addition, he suspects that the young chef went to speak to the jury in order to discredit Theo. But Louis receives a message from his mother that changes everything: Vattel’s price inspector won’t arrive until tomorrow. He then took the opportunity to ask his mother not to answer Teissier’s calls under any pretext.

After the service, Emmanuel comes to bless his son. But the happiness is short-lived as Lisandro informs them that the inspector did not show up at the restaurant. For his part, the director thinks it must be a scheduling problem, but Louie arrives to tell him some very bad news. Guinot’s son claims his mother taught him that double A was no longer on Vattel’s list. While Tessier tries to call his colleague and find out exactly, he immediately goes to his answering machine.

Theo is upset. He feels that he has given everything for nothing. His father tries to motivate him. He is confident that he will win the prize next year. However, Theo refuses to wait until then and wants to move: he is going to move to Paris with Celia.

Later, Theo tells Celia the bad news. A young woman is shocked and saddened by her friend who has sacrificed so much for this occasion. The chef admits that he would love to win the prize, but now he has decided to go with it for a new start.

Meanwhile, Emanuel makes Louis an offer that the latter has been waiting for a very long time: to become the leader of Double A the next day.

In six days, the finals of the National Confectionery Championship begin. While Greg and Marius are in the kitchen getting ready, they take the opportunity to make up for lost time and discuss their romantic relationships. Greg confides to his friend that he has been in a relationship with Elliot for a year and a half. On the other hand, Marius currently does not have a girlfriend because he cannot find the right person.

Their discussion is interrupted by Alban, who angrily arrives with his brigade. Not wanting to create a problem, Marius offers to put his head in the corner of the kitchen so they can work too. But the other refuses and speaks to them with great disdain. Angered by his behavior, Greg also raises his voice. He explains to Alban that they have reserved the kitchen and that his father has given them permission. So either he works on himself or waits for them to finish. Albani, clearly refusing to compromise, leaves the room with his colleagues.

After training, Greg and Marius go to the beach to relax. The clerk thanks his friend for defending him before Albany. This event reminded him how funny Greg could be. The two friends begin reliving their teenage memories and Greg ends up holding Marius. He is very happy that they found each other. At the same time, Anais sees them hugging.

Later, the student can’t help but ask Greg about Marius. She tries to figure out if she loved him as a friend or as a boyfriend. Greg then admits that he had a crush on her when they were teenagers. Moreover, it was for this very reason that she reacted badly when Marius advanced on her. Gregg adds that he didn’t understand her feelings at that age, and finally his friend’s anger ended.

Anais then decides to ask Greg a question that doesn’t bother him: does he still have feelings for Marius? The scene he had witnessed earlier on the beach was clearly confusing. However, Greg assures that it was nothing and that there is no ambiguity between him and Marius.

Mehdi and Hortense are on cloud nine. Clotilda gave them permission to direct the Pop-Up this summer. Hortense is excited about the idea of preparing the menu for the institute’s pop-up restaurant in front of customers. She reminds her boyfriend that Theo directed Pop-Up last year and that today he is winning the Vatel Prize. The student is sure that this is a great opportunity for them.

As they begin to rearrange the furniture, they are interrupted by Kelly and Lionel, who are annoyed to learn that Chef Armand gave them the direction of the Pop-Up without pre-selection. They also have interesting ideas for creating their menu and are going to share them at Clotilde.

Kelly and Lionel present their case to Clotilda. They feel that the selection process is not fair because they did not tell anyone that they could apply for it. But Chef Armand doesn’t see everything the same way. Indeed, Mehdi and Hortense took the lead and volunteered. If they really wanted Pop-Up too, they should have come out first. The pair continue to argue, angering Clotilde, who tells the two students that she will not reconsider her decision.

Mehdi later offers Kelly and Lionel an alternative: each couple can take care of the Pop-Up every other week. The idea immediately convinces them, but there is a problem. Indeed, the restaurant should still follow the guideline so as not to disturb the customers. Hortense doesn’t really see how they managed to come to an agreement by taking turns working in pairs. Lionel is upset. He understands that their friends are not going to let go.

At the end of the day, Jasmine and Deva are as surprised as Kelly and Lionel at Chef Armand’s arbitrary decision. Although Lionel is not angry with Mehdi and Hortense, Kelly tries to make light of the situation, judging that their comrades were equally embarrassed by the situation. But Jasmine forces Kelly and Lionel to not give up and fight to win the management of the ephemeral restaurant.
