This Friday (20), Ivete Sangalo took the stage at “Rock in Rio” for the 19th time in his career. The singer, who is the artist with the most performances in the history of the festival, recently promised an international show – and he did so with flying colors.
You are here he sang his greatest hits, such as “Macetando”, the most played song at this year’s Carnival“Festa”, “Abalou”, “Arerê” and “Cria de Ivete”, sending the audience into a frenzy.
Curses and lots of ‘arerê’
From the beginning, the Bahian singer proved that the energy of the show would be contagious. With her unmistakable charisma and powerful stage presence, the singer opened the performance by interacting with the audience in an irreverent way. “Good afternoon, Rock in Rio! Can I put a curse word here? Damn!”, she said, eliciting laughter and screams among the fans.
