Apple TV + has announced the production of “Ferrari”, a biographical series about the life of Enzo Ferrari, the creator of the famous car brand.

The project is developed by British screenwriter Steven Knight, creator of “Peaky Blinders”, and will be directed by Italian director Stefano Sollima (“Sicario: Day of the Soldado”).

The plot will focus on a five-year period, between 1956 and 1961, after the tragic death of Dino, Enzo’s eldest son, and a “betrayal” by his main driver, Juan Manuel Fangio, which led Ferrari to rebuild the his team. scratch, selecting five rising stars in motorsport to fight for victory.
