A minor reversal sequence. First unveiled at the Sony Playstation conference shortly before E3 in June 2018. Ghost of Tsushima It was a real slap. Developed by Sucker Punch, the studio we owe to Infamous Games, the game takes place in 1274 after the Mongol invasion of the island of Tsushima. We played as Jin Sakai, a former samurai who adopted the path of the ghost to fight by abandoning traditional techniques.
Fully dubbed in English and Japanese for greater immersion, Ghost of Tsushima is set in an open world and mixes action, adventure and infiltration. The fantasy game, developed with the support of the Akira Kurosawa Foundation, set in feudal Japan, will soon be adapted for the cinema under the auspices of Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick saga.
Last night, during his condition, Sony Playstation and Sucker Punch studio revealed the very first images of the sequel, the so-called Ghost of Yotei. This time, the idea is to play a woman named Atsu.
The revealed images are absolutely gorgeous to check out below.
The story takes place in 1603, so very close to the period in which the Shogun series takes place, in the lands surrounding Mount Yotei, located in Ezo Province, on the island of Hokkaido. Ghost of Yotei is the first game developed specifically for Sony’s PS5 console.
It will be published in 2025, without further details. If its release is not delayed, it will be a great appetizer in anticipation of Shogun season 2.
