John Wick can take a little vacation. After four films in theaters, the hero played by Keanu Reeves gives way to a new character who fits into the same world: Rooney, also known as Ballerina, played by Ana de Armas. This installment presents itself as a spin-off story from the main franchise and focuses on a young ballet dancer seeking revenge for the death of her family.
Remember, Rooney’s character is briefly introduced in the third part of John Wick during a scene that contradicts Keanu Reeves Anjelica Houston. It’s short, but from this sequence, the dancers are shown as meticulously trained heroines. Thus, the story of Ballerina will take place between the third and fourth John Wick films.

We meet Ana de Armas in the main role. The actor is already familiar with the action register, as he starred with Daniel Craig in the 25th part of the James Bond adventures, No Time to Die. His appearance was brief during his visit to Cuba, but his performance made a strong impression on the public.
Star describes Ballerina as a movie “Dangerous, sexy and very John Wick“.”I think the audience will be surprisedHe continues Collider. Obviously I’m not objective, but I really like this movie, I think it’s going to be great.“
