102 years after his first movie appearance, this iconic creature is back! Watch the trailer

102 years ago, the German director F.V. Murnau directed one of the most important works of silent cinema: Nosferatu. Film, Unofficial and Unauthorized Adaptation Dracula by Bram Stoker, leaves an indelible mark on the collective imagination. The new version hits theaters with The Witch, The Lighthouse and The Northman directed by Robert Eggers.

Since the first trailer released earlier this year, the film has been revealed more with new images, but the creature’s appearance remains a mystery, shown only with a few tight shots and shadows in homage to the original film.

As Nosferatu, Bill Skarsgård once again disappears under tons of makeup. The Swedish actor, the son of Stellan Skarsgård, is used to metamorphosis with characters who are always more disgusting than others.

In 2017, he rose to prominence in Pennywise in It and its sequel, which was adapted from the Stephen King novel. He was recently in the new adaptation of The Crow, replacing Brandon Lee as rocker-turned-vigilante Eric Raven.
