Dandadan

From October 3 on Crunchyroll, ADN and Netflix.

This is the news that is getting the most buzz this fall. The anime adaptation of the phenomenon manga by Yukinobu Tatsu is finally coming to no less than three simulcast platforms. The series tells the story of two high school students: Momo Ayase, who believes in ghosts and paranormal phenomena, and Ken Takakura, who is obsessed with extraterrestrial life.

The latter will try to convince each other of the existence of these supernatural powers. Then start the exciting but also fun adventures. In a sign of high expectations, the first three episodes of the series have been released in theaters as a feature film, Dandadan: First Encounter.

Yakuza Groom: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii

Starts October 7th on Crunchyroll.

After spending a surprisingly peaceful adolescence in the heart of Osaka’s underworld, Yoshino’s life is turned upside down when her grandfather marries her off to the son of a rival clan. A young woman forced into Tokyo finds a nice and gentle boy in her future husband…but looks are deceiving and her new everyday life is far more dangerous than she imagined.

Blood, mobsters and a hint of romance (maybe?), it promises Yakuza fianceA psychological drama that promises to surprise us! With its colorful characters and very unique graphic style provided by DEEN studios, it is one of the most anticipated anime of this fall.

Dragon Ball DAIMA

From October 11th on ADN, Crunchyroll and from October 15th on Mangas Channel.

The fifth series to stem from Dragon Ball, this new production is also the final creation of Akira Toriyama (who passed away on March 1st). Dragon Ball DAIMA Takes the form of a work of will as this anime revives the humorous and adventurous tone of the first volumes of the famous manga.

The series follows the adventures of Goku and his friends, who return to their childhood after a bad fate. Fully anticipated by hardcore fans of the license, the anime is also designed for a new generation of viewers who are still unfamiliar with the Dragon Ball universe.

Ranma ½ (2024)

Starts October 5th on Crunchyroll.

One of Club Dorothée’s most iconic anime returns in a new version. But fans can rest assured: this new adaptation of Ranma 1/2 aims to stay as close as possible to Rumiko Takahashi’s manga, a masterpiece that combines the codes of comedy, martial arts, and romantic comedy.

Ranma and Akane are betrothed by their fathers, two childhood friends. Problem: two teenagers can’t stand each other!
