SP could see a new temperature record this Wednesday; check the forecast

The city of Saint Paul This Wednesday, the 2nd, could set a new temperature record for this year. The heat of the last few days has generated three consecutive records, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of last week (the 24th, 25th and 26th respectively), and so far this year the hottest day in the capital was Thursday. with 36.3°C.

According to the Emergency Management Center (CGE) of the capital’s municipality, the maximum this Wednesday could reach 36°C and surpass the current record. Climatempo forecasts an even higher maximum of 37°C.

Wednesday is expected to start with muggy weather, with sunshine, a feeling of heat and relative humidity below 30%, the CGE predicts. The temperature should vary between 20°C and 36°C, according to the municipality, and between 21°C and 37°C, according to Climatempo.

From the end of the afternoon and during the night, the approach of a cold front from the coast will cause an increase in clouds and gusts of wind, specifies the CGE. But no rain is forecast for Greater São Paulo.

On Thursday 3rd the cold front will advance, causing cloudiness, isolated rain throughout the day and above all a drop in temperatures: thermometers should fluctuate between 16°C and 22°C, according to CGE and Climatempo. The relative humidity of the air will be above 60%.

The mild weather is expected to continue on Friday 4th, with temperatures between 15°C and 20°C, and Saturday 5th, when thermometers are expected to fluctuate between 15°C and 23°C, according to Climatempo. On Sunday 6th the heat will return: the forecast is between 15°C and 32°C.
