Just days after arriving for purchase on digital platforms, This Is How It Endsfilm adaptation of bestseller namesake of Colleen Hoover starring Blake Lively (gossip Girl), got a release date on Max.
What is the story of This Is How It Ends?
In history, Lily Bloom (Lively) is a woman with a traumatic childhood, who decides to start her life over in Boston, fulfilling her dream of opening a flower shop. In the new phase, she meets the charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni, Jane the Virgin), with whom he falls madly in love.
However, as Lily and Ryle become more and more involved, she begins to notice behaviors in her lover that are reminiscent of her parents’ relationship. With the relationship shaken, Lily still finds his first love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar, 1923), which makes her realize that she needs to trust in her own strength to make an important decision for her future. This Is How It Ends still has Jenny Slate (Venom), Hasan Minhaj (What Time Will I Pick You Up?), Amy Morton (Chicago P.D.) and young people Isabela Ferrer (Evil: Supernatural Contacts) and Alex Neustaedter (Colony), who live the teenage versions of Lily and Atlasrespectively.

One of the biggest box office hits of the year, This Is How It Ends — which is still available for purchase on different digital platforms, such as Prime Video, Apple TV+ and YouTube Filmes, starting at R$ 24.90 — arrives in the Max catalog next October 11that no additional cost to service subscribers.
