The Ministry of Finance updated, late Wednesday evening, 2, the list of betting platforms authorized to continue operating until the end of the yearfor making the request to the folder. As a result, the number of authorized bets increased from 193 brands from 88 companies to 205 brands linked to 93 companies.

According to the Prizes and Betting Secretariat, the insertion of new bets occurred following an error in the notification reception system.
“Three nominations made in compliance with the requirements and deadlines were not included in the first published national list. Furthermore, one company and its bets were included in the list after confirming that the request had been duly signed by an authorized legal representative by the Company Authority”, reads an excerpt of the note published by the department.
In the first publication, which took place on Tuesday 1st, the absence of the platform was highlighted Lucky sportswhich sponsors the main Brazilian football clubs and is involved in Operation Integration. As part of this investigation, the influencer Deolane Bezerra was arrested and the singer Gusttavo Lima was arrested and subsequently removed.
The company even asked the ministry for a rectification, claiming that it had met the requirements to request intervention. However, the platform name is not included in the updated list.
The Treasury note does not mention the names of the omitted companies, but provides possible justifications for their absence.
“The last relevant group was that of the companies for which, during the evaluation of the documentation presented in the authorization procedure, information was identified, based on research on official and open sources, which calls into question fundamental elements for carrying out an activity, recognized as a public service by legislation, such as the suitability of the natural and legal persons involved, as well as the origin and use of the resources”, explains the government.
The brief adds that the exclusion of companies from the current list does not mean that these bets cannot work forever. “Applications for authorization will be examined within the deadlines and, if they comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, they will still be able to obtain authorization and will be able to operate according to the terms of current legislation,” the Ministry says.
The Treasury Department has separated the list into two groups: bets that can operate nationwide and those that can operate at the state level. This second brings together platforms only from the states of Paraná and Maranhão. Check out the lists below:

Platforms that are not on the Ministry of Finance’s list are expected to go offline soon. Minister Fernando Haddad has previously said that bettors should withdraw the money they have on these sites as soon as possible. From October 11th these platforms will be deactivated.
“Even after this date, it will be the responsibility of the site managers to guarantee bettors the means to withdraw the deposits to which they are entitled”, specifies the Ministry.
The Prizes and Betting Secretariat will monitor compliance with the new ordinance. A new list should be published by the end of this year, with the final names of the companies that have adapted to the transition period and fall within the rules defined by the ministry for operating.
For now, the companies analyzed are only those that sent the necessary documentation by August 20th. However, the period for the launch of the regulated betting market in Brazil will only begin on January 1, 2025.
