Flamengo announced, in the early afternoon of Friday (4), that Alex Sandro will not face Bahia. The left back, author of the victory against Corinthians in the Copa do Brasil, has suffered discomfort in his right thigh and will not continue with the delegation to El Salvador. Rubro-Negro will face Tricolor de Aço on Saturday at 7pm (Brasilia time).

“The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Alex Sandro presented discomfort in the back of his right thigh and was not involved in the match against Bahia. The full-back has no injuries and continues the load control work at the CT Ninho do Urubu” , Flamengo reported.

Since arriving at Flamengo, Alex Sandro has played five games in the Rossoneri shirt. In fact, he only came out against Grêmio, when the Rio team was playing with the reserve team.

Without the starter, coach Filipe Luís will use Ayrton Lucas on the left flank.
