‘Kaos’ creator regrets series cancellation after one season: ‘I don’t want this news to overshadow what we did’

Charlie Covell Expresses Gratitude to Crew and Fans After Netflix Comedy Series Canceled

The creator of the series Kaos, Charlie Covellcommented for the first time on the cancellation of production by Netflix after just one season. The series, which was a comedy based on Greek mythology, has officially ended, news that was released on Tuesday.

Covell, also known for his adaptation of The End of the F*ing Worldwrote the eight episodes of the first season.

In a message published on the Instagram from the producer sisterCovell stated:

Of course I’m devastated about not doing more Kaos, but I don’t want this news to overshadow what we did. I am incredibly lucky to have worked with such an exceptionally talented cast and crew, and I am extremely proud of our show.

Kaoshad as protagonist Jeff Goldblumwhich played a modern version of Zeus, and also featured Stephen Dillane as Prometheus, who in the series tries to overthrow the king of the gods with the help of three humans: Eurydice (Aurora Perrineau), Ariadne (Leila Farzad) and Cenaeus (Misia Butler).

The creator also thanked the series’ supporters for “love and enthusiasm” demonstrated.

The creator also mentioned that he saw a theory in Reddit about who or what Kaos was “completely correct”.
