KAOS was canceled by Netflix. The news was released by Variety this week and has already left some fans shocked, given that only a short time has passed since the series debuted on the platform — it arrived in the catalog on August 29th.

The comedy series, which reinterprets Greek mythology in a modern way, follows the climate of Mount Olympus on the verge of collapse due to Zeus’ growing paranoia (Jeff Goldblum).

After ruling the Olympians for millennia, Zeus discovers a wrinkle on his forehead, leading him into a paranoid episode, believing his downfall is imminent. This epidemic triggers a series of chaotic events among the gods, affecting the Earth and its inhabitants.

Written by Charlie Covellalso creator of The end of the damn worldthe series remained in the Netflix Top 10 for four weeks after release and received good feedback from the specialized press, showing an approval rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The series was even more successful with the public and, therefore, the decision to cancel it was not well received. “That’s why I get angry every time I think it’s a miniseries and it’s a series. Netflix only renews Emily in Paris, Bridgerton and Stranger Things, the rest I don’t even know why they bother,” said viewer Camila Freire, on Blue Sky .
