The Prime Video streaming service will have a new feature starting at the end of October. Amazon has announced the arrival of Apple TV+ in its catalog. The option will cost US$9.99 (around R$55) per month and will only be available in the United States.
The Apple TV+ streaming service is known for its original series such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Severance. Until now, it has focused on producing content in-house, a strategy that has helped it receive 72 Emmy Award nominations.
The platform, however, is among those that have lost the most customers, according to the market research company Antenna. The integration with Amazon is an attempt to maintain the quality of productions while increasing its customer base.
No further information has been released about the future of projects already underway on Apple TV+. What is known is that the stream will be added as a Prime Video channel, the same as HBO Max, Discovery+, Starz, Showtime and Paramount+.
The change has no impact on Brazilian customers. However, analysts predict that integration will also take place in other countries outside the United States in the future. The information comes from The limit.
