It’s clear that Gizmo, the famous Mogwai from the Gremlins movie, and Grogu (aka Baby Yoda), Mandalorian’s little companion, share many physical characteristics.

A similarity that Joe Dante, the director of Gremlins fame, recently evoked on a television microphone. San Francisco Chronicle. For the filmmaker, there is no doubt: his character was stolen from him.
