In the 80s, “Earthlings” became the first domestic band that dared to officially call itself a rock band. Their fame was nationwide, they “teared” stadiums all over the country, once during a concert, a wall literally collapsed from the pressure of the crowd! Several generations have grown up on their songs, and now, in the new century and new time, famous musicians are back on the wave. The return to the stage of the two “founding fathers” of the group, Igor Romanov and Vladimir Kiselev, became an event on the music scene. On July 2, in St. Petersburg, on the famous “flying saucer” of the Gazprom Arena, “Earthlings” celebrated their anniversary with a grand concert. The megashow was not inferior to the brightest world concerts of Rammstein, Mettallica and even Pink Floyd. More than 45 thousand spectators of all ages came to the concert, no one remained indifferent.

The musicians flew over the auditorium on ropes, climbed to great heights on rotating platforms, launched an almost real jet plane into flight. Giant silver dolphins flew around the arena, stunt motorcyclists flew through the burning rings and performed dizzying stunts in the air above the stage, a three-meter paper boat floated out, and in a lyrical moment a violinist on a real white horse rode onto the stage. The concert was attended by musicians of the symphony orchestra, children’s choir, dancers, aerialists. The show was accompanied by powerful pyrotechnic and lighting effects, a fire show with live fire. But the spectacle was only a tribute to the impressive date. The most important thing is the songs, those that we know by heart, and the new ones written in recent years, the music is real, courageous, lively and free rock, performing skills that have no equal on the modern Russian stage.

The concert program included 21 songs of “Earthlings” of different years: their classic hits “The Way Home”, “Runway”, “Stuntmen”, “Red Horse”, “Ship”, modern compositions “God”, “Mama”, “Borsalino ”, patriotic “Blagovest” and “Hey, country”, a rock cover “Sonny” (tribute to AC / DC), hooligan rock and roll “Hey Cord”, and, of course, “Grass by the House” – the anthem of Russian cosmonautics .

An exclusive television version of this landmark concert will be broadcast on the NTV channel. You will see how forever young Igor Romanov flies under the arches of the stadium at a height of 70 meters and at the same time “saws” a virtuoso guitar solo. How the drummer soars into the air along with the kit, and, rotating 360 degrees in all directions, arranges a real drama extreme. How the eyes of musicians and spectators fill with tears at the touching moments of lyrical songs. How the people on the dance floor clutch their hearts when, right above the stage, a stuntman on a motorcycle performs somersaults in flight, as if overcoming the force of gravity.
