On July 13, at the Record cultural center, as part of the Gorky Fest 2022, the online cinema START held a special screening of the youth series Zhiza. This is the directorial debut of Arseniy Robak, the son of Alexander Robak – by the way, he played the father of the protagonist in the film. The leading actors Maxim Saprykin and Valentina Lyapina, actor Alexander Novikov, project producer Irina Sosnovaya and director Arseniy Robak arrived in Nizhny Novgorod to present the series.
In addition to the team of creators, actors Agata Muceniece, Elena Zakharova, Alexandra Revenko, Irina Bezrukova, Anar Khalilov, Mark Eidelstein, Nikita Tarasov, the star of Patient Zero Victoria Agalakova and others came to watch the new series. Also among the guests was actor Alexei Chadov, who came out with his longtime lover Leysan Galimova. The couple has been together since 2018, but does not advertise their relationship.
Critics have already called the series “a road movie about how painful it is to grow up.” The heroes are teenagers Polina and Yakut, who run away from an orphanage in a small town. They go to Moscow, but getting to the capital turns out to be even more difficult than surviving in the harsh orphanage system. Alexander Robak, by the way, will also appear in “Gize” – he played the father of the protagonist.
