Leila Pereira and Savério Orlandi are competing for the position of president of Verdão. Now the election will be defined by the partners on November 24th
Just over a month before the presidential elections in Palmeiras, the two candidates in the elections had been approved by the filter of the Deliberative Council. The situation with Leila Pereira and the opposition with Savério Orlandi. It will therefore be the first time that Leila will have a “rival” in the club.
Leila Pereira, current president and favorite for re-election, is part of the “Palmeiras Campeão” ticket, with Maria Teresa Bellangero as first vice-president. Savério Orlandi, critical of the management of the owner of Crefisa, instead leads the “Palmeiras Minha Vida É Você” ticket, which has Luiz Pastore as first vice president.
The “Palmeiras Campeão” ticket, by Leila Pereira, received 168 votes, while the “Palmeiras Minha Vida é Você”, by Savério Orlandi, received 85 votes. 10 councilors, however, voted blank. For the tickets, after all , 15% of votes were enough to approve.
Club elections are scheduled for November 24. The members who will choose who will lead Palmeiras until the end of 2027.

This weekend, in fact, both candidates were at the club headquarters. Leila Pereira, on the occasion of Children’s Day, distributed gifts to the little inhabitants of Palmeiras. Savério Orlandi, in turn, met with the councilors to discuss the current scenario of Palmeiras. The candidate ensures a climate of “dissatisfaction” in the air.
