Marvel confirms the return of Iron Man, but not in the form we expected!

In the weeks since the announcement of Robert Downey Jr.’s big return to Marvel, the return of Iron Man has become official.

However, the American actor – now an Oscar winner for Oppenheimer’s best supporting role – will not be returning to the role of Tony Stark, as he now lends his features to Doctor Victor Von Doom, the Fantastic Four’s sworn enemy.

Let’s also note that this Iron Man will have nothing to do with the ones seen in the Avengers movies, as this will be an animated feature aimed at a younger audience. called Iron Man and his Amazing Friends (Iron Man and his awesome friendsin French), the series is expected to air in the summer of 2025 on Disney+ and the Disney Junior channel.

In this performance, Tony Stark forms a superhero team with Riri Williams (Iron Heart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk). These shorts-clad vigilantes will have to join forces to save the city from the bad guys, but also protect each other.

Also announced in the program are supporting characters well known to Marvel fans, such as Vision and Gamma.

The successor of Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Tony Stark is already known, because it will be the young American actor Mason Blomberg, who will be seen in the TV series Shameless.

The purpose of this series is not to expand the extended universe of Marvel movies, but to offer an independent entity to introduce the superhero to a younger audience.
