Shortly before the release of Barbie, the American director signed a contract with Netflix to adapt the famous novels of the fantasy saga The Chronicles of Narnia into films. The XXL budget is available for this new version, a trilogy of films that already saw the light of day in the early 2000s, but it seems that the project is the subject of a misunderstanding between the filmmaker and the platform.
