Inspired by the novel, this spin-off series has come a long way Society of Sisters Brian Herbert (son of Frank Herbert) and Kevin J. by Anderson since it was commissioned five years ago.
The fiction went through many changes due to behind-the-scenes creative differences, and in the end it was Alison Shapker (Alias, Fringe) who served as showrunner, writer and producer on this Dune prequel, after many departures and artistic disputes.
This year, Dune: Prophecy finally hits our screens, and the final official trailer reveals more about the SF series, which is closer to the aesthetic and artistic direction of Villeneuve’s films. Therefore, fans of the film franchise will not be too disoriented and will be able to learn more about the mythology and world of Dune thanks to this prequel, which promises to be relentless and exciting.
