‘It needs adjustments, but the writers are doing a great job’, says the actor
This Thursday (17), Tom Holland participated in an interview at the RichRoll Podcastwhere he revealed that he and Zendaya Have you read the preliminary script? Holland said they were at home and ‘jumping around the room‘ due to the quality of the script, although he mentioned that it still needs some adjustments.
The actor highlighted that the writers are doing ‘a great job‘ and stated that the film, scheduled for release in 2026, will be ‘worthy of the respect of fans of the franchise’.
I read it three weeks ago and it lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down to read, and at several points we were jumping around the room, saying: ‘This is a real film, worthy of fans’ respect’. But there are a few things we need to sort out before we can really start, but it’s exciting.

Tom Holland also mentioned some of the challenges of working in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He highlighted that the film is a small part within a much larger machine and that it is necessary to fit it into the MCU schedule in a way that benefits the overall plot.
This machine needs to keep working. And you need to make sure you fit into that schedule at the right time to benefit the whole. This is one of the challenges we are facing. The time we have to do this is a huge challenge, but definitely achievable with the fantastic people we are working with now.
In 2023, Holland had already expressed his willingness to return to the role of Peter Parkeras long as the plot did “justice to the character”, of which he says he is very protective. In April of this year, the actor officially confirmed his return to the franchise.
Since the launch of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, Tom Holland participated in other projects, such as the action film Unchartedand the series Apple TV+ The Crowded Roomin which he was also executive producer.
