20 Minutes of Tears: Stranger Things’ Sheriff Conjures Netflix’s Series Finale

Speaking live on the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via Variety ), David Harbor revealed that the Stranger Things cast “They cried uncontrollably” while playing the last episode of your favorite series. The show’s fifth and final season is expected to air in 2025, though Netflix has yet to announce a release date. It will include eight episodes that will complete the story of Elven, Mike, Dustin, Max, Willy, Lucas and more.

Harbor even called the final “Best episode they ever did“, added: “They take off the plane.

At the end of this episode, as we read—just read—about halfway through, people started crying“, he said David Harbor. “Then, for about the last 20 minutes, there was just uncontrollable crying, waves of different people. Noah Schnapp is my favorite.

He continued: “I think part of it comes from the fact that these kids, this was their childhood. Here we are 10 years later and looking at this idea, it’s so well done and so beautiful… It’s such a great episode and it’s such a great season. you will fall in love

Noah Schnapp, who he mentioned, and his young co-stars Stranger Things They were between the ages of 11 and 14 when they started filming the hit Netflix series. They literally grew up on set and are now in their twenties as the series prepares to say goodbye.

David Harbor From the pilot episode, he plays Dear Jim Hopper. In an interview with Discussing Film last year, the actor said he was ready to end the series, even though it would be bittersweet.

The funny thing is that when I started the series, I never wanted to finish it. That’s why I love it. I think it’s a great show even though I wasn’t there. It’s been almost nine years since the first season was filmed, and I think it’s time for it to end.”

He continued: “But this is certainly a bittersweet moment. You know, there’s a certain sadness to it. But also, we’ve all grown up. Time to leave that nest and try different things and different projects. And for the Duffer brothers to try something else. I mean, these guys are so talented. I want to see what they come up with next. So it’s a bittersweet moment, but it’s definitely time.

Stranger Things (and Hopper) will be so missed.
