Before Terrifier: Clown Art, the actor played the Joker!

Quite a clown story! This week, Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3 overtook Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux at the US box office. Art has officially surpassed the Joker to become Hollywood’s greatest clown. Following its premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 19, the terrifyingly violent Horror 3 It finally hits US theaters on October 11th and a little earlier here on October 9th.

Across the Atlantic, during its first weekend in theaters, the third installment of the slasher became the highest-grossing cult horror franchise. And that’s not all: it took first place at the box office, beating Joker: Folie à Deux in its second weekend and Le Robot Sauvage in its third weekend in theaters. According to predictions, the film should earn at least double this weekend Joker 2 will win…

And during this time we learn that David Howard Thornton, who plays Art in the Terrifier saga, is not in the lead role as the clown…

Like Joaquin Phoenix, he previously played DC’s Joker, but this time in a YouTube fan series called Nightwing: EscalationHence, he went from a legendary evil clown to an initially little-known clown who has since been talked about a lot, a scary clown who today surpasses the one we consider the most iconic…

And as the actor explained to us during the meeting with our site, real clowns, who are supposed to bring joy and laughter to children, are not really happy!

Terrifier 3 is currently available in theaters Only if you are over 18!
