Los Angeles in the 1970s, while a spate of murders hits the headlines, a young woman aspiring to become an actress and a serial killer collide during an episode of the show’s “Dating Game.” It’s A Woman at Play, Netflix’s latest thriller, which sees Anna Kendrick behind the camera for the first time.
For his first performance, the story of which somewhat disappointed us, the Hollywood actor wanted to single out the victim, and not the character of Rodney Alcala, played by Daniel Zovato. We ultimately know very little about this serial killer who killed over a hundred women, men and children between 1968 and 1979.
