Even a meticulous and punctual director like Christopher Nolan can sometimes make small mistakes. And even a feature film like Dunkirk sometimes hides an anomaly or two.
In 29 minutes and 9 seconds…
While the war movie, notably starring Harry Styles, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy, airs on TF1 tonight, we’re looking back at a rather impressive mistake, but practically impossible unless you’re called Michelle or don’t know exactly where. look for it.
To find it, you must first press the “pause” button on the remote control at exactly 29 minutes and 9 seconds, that is, during one of the scenes where the British pilot, played by Tom Hardy, flies over the canal. Takes control of his Spitfire and prepares to take on German fighters.

In the scene in question, the character takes the fuel reserve and marks it with chalk 15:10He still has it 40 gallons (see above). But it is the other two figures written on the left side of the screen that I recommend paying attention to: 15/15 2.
Indeed, even if they already appear in the picture in this shot, only later in the film – at 42 minutes and 53 seconds, to be exact – Tom Hardy notices them on his camera, at the moment when his teammate says. that it only has 15 gallons of fuel left before it breaks down (see below).
A small visual inconsistency that shows the order in which the scenes were shot, but which also reveals a great deal of neglect by the technical teams. So even when your name is Christopher Nolan, there is no such thing as perfection!
