Nora discovers Eliot’s secret
Elliot is very thoughtful this morning. It must be said that the young man keeps thinking about the moment when two men on a motorcycle pulled out guns while he was taking Curtis on a date. While Muriel tries to figure out what’s bothering her, the young man makes her think he’s having trouble showing up.
At the high school, Achille suggests Nura go to the movies tonight, but the young woman declines because she has Toma to take care of. She then tells him that the father of the child she is taking care of has been arrested for tax fraud.
At L. Cosmétiques, Élisabeth scorns Boris, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Muriel, who advises her colleague to pull out all stops to convince Victoire to come back and work for them. She also informs him that the young woman will be in Lyon the next day at a design conference.
In turn, Romeo offers Tom a new plan to make money, but the teenager refuses because he wants to stop fooling around. Romeo tries to insist, but Tom sends him away.
Not far from there, Elliot takes the customer to the car and asks him to fasten his seat belt. As she refuses, Elliot sternly asks her to leave the car and then drives off.
In the afternoon, Boris visits his mother in a nursing home. After scolding him for not coming to see her sooner, Catherine claims that she feels in great shape. Boris then reminds him that he was still hanging around when Francois died. Besides, he is worried because he has to leave this week. After swearing that she is much better, Catherine adds that she has nothing else to do here before taking him in her arms.
At the end of the day, Elliot returns home to find Nora taking care of Tom. When she gets a call from Curtis, she goes to her son’s room to answer it. When Curtis asks if he has any availability for a new job at the end of the week, Elliot replies that he’s a little cold after what happened the other night. “I don’t want to get shot in the head because of your trafficking. Obviously, I’m scared. I have a son and I want him to grow up with his father,” she says. What Elliot doesn’t know is that his son’s baby monitor is on and Noura has heard his entire conversation… Back in the living room, Noura, feeling uncomfortable, hurries to leave. Elliot then notices a baby monitor on the table…
Ian refuses to become a father
Johanna could not stand the closure any longer, decided to return to work. Ian then wonders if she might be running away from him. It must be said that they never talked about the fact of losing a child. So Johanna points out to him that it was only an embryo. However, Ian wants to talk about the future and more specifically about the plan to start a family. So the young woman tells him that she is not sure if she still wants children. In fact, the latter no longer wants to undergo protocols, IVF and injections. When Ian suggests that they follow the natural method, Johanna replies that she has already suffered two miscarriages and that she does not want to have a third. If he dreams of being a father, Ian also specifies that he wants a child with him and no one else. Although Johanna refuses to ask him to make such a sacrifice, Ian replies that he has already given the question a good thought. He loves her and that’s the main thing. In turn, Johanna tells him how much she loves him before kissing him.
Arriving at the office, Johanna asks Claudine to take charge of Ludo’s case, which she accepts.
At the hospital, Manu questions Serge Levar, but the latter still has no memory of what happened on the day of his attack. While the cop tries to figure out if he can be mad at him, Serge points out that he’s a lawyer and that half the town is mad at him. However, the latter does not see who could kill him. As Leticia worries about her safety, Manu tries to reassure her.
Back at the police station, Manu informs Hugo and Commissioner Becker that Serge doesn’t remember anything. Since they are at a dead end, Hugo suggests that he bring the lawyer to the scene of the attack in hopes of regaining his memories. The commissioner agrees.
Meanwhile, Johanna calls Sabine and confides that she had a comforting talk with Ian. Sabine, surprised that Ian has agreed to give up his dream of becoming a father, hopes he won’t change his mind. For her part, Johanna points out that she didn’t put the knife to her throat and she made a choice.
At the same time, Hugo asks Jan if she really agrees to give up her dream of having a baby. So Ian replies that he loves Johanna and that he doesn’t want to pressure her. However, he hopes that once the injury is over, he might change his mind.
