Easy and versatile barbecue sauce, ideal for ribs, burgers or to add that special touch to your barbecue




Barbecue sauce, of American origin, which goes very well with pork, hamburgers and barbecues.

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

BARBECUE SAUCE Ingredients (American Barbecue)

– 1/2 tablespoon(s) of oil

– 1/2 unit of onion, chopped.

– 1/4 cup(s) apple cider vinegar (or white wine vinegar)

– 1 tablespoon(s) of brown sugar

– 1 cup(s) of ketchup w

– 1 tablespoon(s) of Worcestershire sauce

– 75 ml of water, filtered

– pepper sauce to taste

– salt to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate all ingredients and utensils for the recipe.

PREPARATION:

BBQ Sauce:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the onion for a few minutes, until it starts to brown.
  2. Add the brown sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil.
  3. Strain to remove the onion.
  4. Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, water and pepper sauce (optional) and cook over low heat until it thickens slightly.
  5. Adjust the sweet and sour flavor with a pinch of salt, turn off the heat and set aside.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the barbecue sauce as an accompaniment to your dishes, or as a condiment for meat, as in BBQ ribs.
