Fans of dramatic and sensual thrillers for mature audiences are served by one of the new releases on Netflix. In recent days, the platform has put online the first series resulting from the partnership between the streaming service and Tyler Perry, an American screenwriter and director who has already produced the film Mea Culpa with Kelly Rowland for Netflix.
What is “Beauty in Black”?
Her new fiction, called Beauty in Black and not recommended for people under 16, tells the story of the connected destinies of two strong and intelligent women trying to overcome a dangerous environment where anything goes.
And yet, everything is against them. Kim (Taylor Polidore Williams) is a stripper with a tragic family history who struggles to make ends meet after a stint in prison.
Mallory (Chrisle Stewart), on the other hand, is a woman of humble origins who has become a businesswoman at the head of a cosmetics company owned by her rich and dysfunctional brother-in-law, who harbors dark secrets.
After a series of tragic incidents, Kim and Mallory quickly realize that the people around them, which she surprisingly shares, don’t only want the best for them, and that they must do whatever it takes to survive.

When will the sequel to “Beauty in Black” be released?
Don’t worry, the series doesn’t end there. It consists of a total of 16 episodes and thus Tyler Perry’s fiction is divided into two parts. But then, when will the remaining 8 episodes be posted online?
The bad news: we’ll have to be patient, as Netflix has announced that the second installment will be available in the spring of 2025! This is what is indicated on the platform at the end of the eighth episode of the series.
The streaming service will show a mini-teaser of Part 2 when you finish the eighth episode. and Kim, who is trying her best to protect her little sister from the clutches of Jules and the Bellar family.
