Even with five golden balls, Cristiano Ronaldo did not spare criticism of the award. In a video that has resurfaced and is going viral on social media after the information Vini Jr. would not win the Ballon d’Orthe soccer star said he didn’t believe in the award:

“I’m already used to it. I know how these organizations work. In fact, I don’t even see him anymore. In a certain sense, in my opinion, these awards have lost a bit of credibility. We have to analyze the entire period. I’m not saying Messi didn’t deserve it, or Haaland, or even Mbappé,” he said, adding:

Second in the 2024 Ballon d’Or, Vini Jr.who was not present at the event, sent an indirect message on his X, former Twitter: “I will do it ten times if necessary. They are not prepared.”
