The hero’s first live-action series was sponsored by Kellogg’s Cereal, with George Reeves playing Superman/Clark Kent.

The storylines focused on Superman’s adventures, taking on villains and protecting his colleagues from the Daily Planet. Known for its advanced visual effects for its time, the series gained popularity among audiences.

The series was broadcast on television in Brazil on the afternoons of Rede Globo from 1965 to 1966. Subsequently, it inaugurated the programming of TV Bandeirantes in 1967.

Superboy (1988-1992)

The series follows the adventures of a young Clark Kent as he studies journalism at university, facing enemies and criminals. In Brazil it has been broadcast on SBT since 1992, as part of the children’s program Wonderful show and other programs aimed at children.

Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993 – 1997)

Starring Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, this production focuses primarily on the relationship between the leads as Clark faces various dangers as Superman.

The series was very successful in Brazil, being broadcast mainly on Globo and SBT channels, between the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, this series was very popular among Brazilian audiences in the 2000s, being broadcast mainly on SBT.

Supergirl (2015-2021)

Produced by the CW channel, known for series aimed at young audiences, Supergirl follows Clark Kent’s cousin, Kara Zor-El. Moments before the explosion of the planet Krypton, Kara is also sent to Earth with the mission to take care of her cousin, who is still a baby. However, his ship arrives after hers due to deviations in space-time.

Sharing many of the same powers as Superman, Kara adopts the identity of Supergirl and sets out to protect the Earth.

After years of fighting supervillains, Superman (Clark Kent) and Lois Lane are now parents of two children. In this new phase of life, they face challenges beyond their routine as journalists and superheroes: dealing with the possibility that Jonathan and Jordan will inherit Clark’s Kryptonian powers as they grow up.

The series is a spin-off of Supergirl (2015) and has a similar style to that of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
