Steve begins the celebration

“Dia de los muertos” evening begins at Masalia’s residence. Steve makes a speech to thank everyone involved, then begins the celebration. Everyone wears colorful clothes and Mexican masks, as a sign of respect for the country’s customs.

Apolline (Zoé Laïb) takes the opportunity to ask the young organizer where the alcohol is, and moments later, she finds herself drinking cocktails for the evening. Steve concludes that he’s having a good time, but as usual, the young woman can’t help but criticize him.

He confides in Steve: “I was sold excitement, shame and boredom.” Steve replies that the goal was not to scare, but to show respect for Mexico.

Nisma kisses Vadim

After his discussion with Apolline, Steve toasts his new friend, Camille, a Day of the Dead specialist in Mexico. He tells her he’s happy to be at her party, then suggests they go dancing together. Nisma looks at the scene with sad eyes.

On her way back to her room, Niss runs into Vadim (Leo Mazo), who, as usual, can’t help but throw some barbs at her. Nisma does not give up. They slowly approach and Nisma kisses the boy.

At the same time, Steve arrives to find his ex-girlfriend kissing the new nurse. He pretends he didn’t see anything, then he leaves. Ness, on the other hand, didn’t notice her presence.

Ariane and Zoe commit a heist

Ariane goes to the “Dia de los Muertos” party in a black jumpsuit. He also wears a mask to avoid being recognized. Meanwhile, at the apartment, Eric observes Zoe handcuffed to a chair.

The teenager is worried because he hasn’t heard anything from his mother. He said to Eric: “He doesn’t have a network anymore so he’s underground, I know what he’s up to!” The former policeman tries to calm the young girl down, but the latter seems to have convinced him.

Ariane goes underground to the Massalia residence. Suddenly he hears a voice in the distance: it’s Zoe. Eric finally decided to untie her so he could go and save his mother. Ariane explains to her daughter that she wants to do the robbery herself, but Zoe refuses to put herself in danger.

Zoe suggests to her mother that they do the heist together: “I’m going to need you because we only have two hours left to deliver the loot to the residence”. Finally, Ariane gets her daughter’s help. They both go into the tunnel.

A few minutes later, Ariane begins to choke. He tells his daughter that he has suffered from claustrophobia since childhood: “You have to go without me Zoe, I can’t go on, I’m really not well.” Zoe tries to calm Ariane and the latter slowly regains consciousness.

Mother and daughter are close to the goal. They go to the first door and open the closet to disable all the video surveillance cameras. Zoe informs her mother about the stolen item: a Mexican mask located in the exhibit room.

The teenager manages to grab the mask and then return to his mother in 27 seconds, which is too late. But contrary to all expectations, the alarm did not go off, even though it should have gone off 2 seconds ago.

Suddenly the guard of the exhibition appears with his girlfriend. Mother and daughter are hiding behind the wall. The guard discovers that the mask is missing and immediately informs the police.

On the other hand, Ariane and Zoe return through the tunnel. As she approaches the exit, Zoe says to her mother: “I can’t move, my leg is on a mine.”
