The consortium New Coast starts the management of the highways in São Paulo which connect the municipalities of Alto Tietê (Great Sao Paulo) A Baixada Santista ea Ribeira Valley starting this Friday, November 1st. There are plans to install new toll booths and contractual promises of road improvements, such as lane duplication and secondary lane widening.
The stretch granted to the private sector covers 213 kilometers of lanes, which include the SP-055 motorways (Rodovia Padre Manuel da Nóbrega); SP-088 (Mogi-Dutra) and SP-098 (Mogi-Bertioga), covering 12 cities in total: Arujá, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Bertioga, SantosPraia Grande, Mongaguá, Itanhaém, Peruíbe, Itariri, Pedro de Toledo and Miracatu.
